A week from today Alex leaves the nest and soars like an EAGLE!  As excited as I am for him I am feeling a bit sad for myself.  Of course I know this is what he worked for since he was a toddler, loving baseball and being part of the process.  From the first day he worked at Progressive Field in the Team Shop he has grown and matured above and beyond expectations.  His work ethic changed and he became a devoted employee to MLB.  Taking a step forward into the future.  As his mother I am so proud of his passion and purpose in life.

Will I miss him when he moves away - yes!  But I cannot wait to see where this takes him.  As his life will be changing so will mine (and my husband's).  With a positive mindset I know we will all be successful.  However, I know it will be a rocky road (no ice cream pun intended), there will be several forks in the road and I will have to make decisions that may be wrong.  It will be necessary for me to be accountable, not only to myself and family as well as to YOU my client base.
